Senior C++ developers – Imagine This.
Imagine owning a cutting edge project that harnesses the horsepower of a world-class business intelligence tool and combines it with the visual impact and advanced mapping output of geographic information systems.
Everyday at SRC, our ingenious team members create powerful and elegant solutions that blend the best of advanced marketing analytics and spatial BI. As our organization continues to grow, we have an immediate need for a seasoned C++ developer. This senior role will take a lead position in the evolution and refinement of our core technology and must have experience “owning” a product that has been validated as a customer driven solution.
The perfect candidate will have excellent experience with Object Oriented Programming, having shipped several useful applications (either commercial or in-house) and can easily oscillate between the roles of player and coach. You’ll use your superlative coding and people skills to navigate innovative projects, lead by example to inspire exceptional team performance, and provide a sense of mentorship and consistency. Think strategy and visioneering mixed with equal parts of hands-on code work.
Requirements
- 5+ years OOP, with 2 or more years C++ preferred
- Windows Development, 2+ years preferred
- Experience or understanding of templates/STL
- Experience with asynchronous and multi-threaded programming
- Ability to work independently, manage time well and interface with virtual teams
Preferred experience that will knock our socks off!
- UI design experience
- Knowledge and experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and other geospatial technologies such as MapServer, GDAL and OGR
- Experience with C# and Database experience
