Web Developer - Core Web Group (JavaScript)

Alteryx, LLC, the leading provider of business intelligence systems for analysis and content delivery of corporate and commercial information, is expanding its development group and presently has an immediate opening to fill the role of a Software Developer in the Core Web division. This developer position is responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing Alteryx’s web services library. We are looking for an individual who likes taking on challenging tasks and excels in finding creative solutions to difficult problems. Qualifications:
At least 4 years in UI design and development with HTML and Javascript
· Strong knowledge and experience developing and consuming JSON services
· Expertise developing front-end UI libraries with one or more of the following Javascript frameworks: jQuery, Prototype or ExtJS
· Strong Object Oriented Programming experience
· Experience with AJAX request/response models
· Strong CSS skills with attention to detail
Additional experience:
· Photoshop experience
· Experience designing and developing Javascript APIs
· Development experience using one or more of the many browser mapping APIs such as Google Maps, Bing Maps, Yahoo! Maps or OpenLayers
