Alteryx, LLC seeks a Web Marketing Manager to develop web strategies and execute the corresponding tactics that will engage and educate prospects and improve the customer user experience.  This position will also be responsible for capturing site analytics and upgrading the search engine ranking for www.alteryx.com as the leader in business intelligence software.  You will serve as a leader and stay at the forefront of best web practices to lead continued growth.   Not only will you enjoy sharing your skills, creativity and team spirit as a Web Marketing Manager for Alteryx, but you will grow in your career as you learn from your new colleagues who represent some of the best talent in the industry.
 
Key Position Responsibilities:
 
  • Confirm site strategy with key stakeholders and confirm with site metrics and analytics
  • Recommend and lead implementations of corresponding content, graphic design, user experience and analytic plans for www.alteryx.com
  • Partner with internal resources to  enable module sharing and, potentially, monetization of modules and wizards built on the Alteryx platform for desktop, server and web deployment by clients, prospects and Channel partners to demonstrate the abilities of web services of the Alteryx platform for software/platform as a service offerings
  • Continually improve and extend the customer/prospect experience via site metrics
  • Work with internals and/or manage vendors on site design including graphic design
  • Work with the Marketing team to improve site traffic via various web and social media marketing methods and channels
  • Work with Marketing team on continued content development and implementation
  • Work with Marketing team to streamline communications approach and metrics with customers and prospects
  • Create a search engine marketing plan for www.alteryx.com.  Recommend tags, content, links and other activities to raise site ranking.  Ensure they are optimized for natural and paid search performance.  Maximize non-branded search efforts to grow customer base for the direct market
  • Will understand ongoing requirements and prioritize accordingly with key customer input, and communicate with key internal customers and IT on all issues and projects related to www.alteryx.com
  • Prioritize projects and interface with internal clients and internal Sharepoint 2010 development team to manage workload and delivery schedules
  • Track visitor metrics for improved experience/clickability with www.alteryx.com and develop standard and frequent site performance reporting to Management.  These reported metrics are specific to the site strategy
  • Manage within budget for site development and  analytic resources
  • Responsible for other Duties/Projects assigned by business management as needed
 
Position Qualifications:
 
  • Bachelor’s degree required in marketing, communications or related field, MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in web marketing with proven B2B experience
  • Experience with search engine optimization best practices, search engine marketing and related analytics, engagement metrics and reporting techniques.
  • Four or more years experience in product management and user experience design for B2B software, SaaS products, or web deliverables.
  • Successful project coordination experience working with agencies, UI designers, information architects, developers, QA and other cross functional groups to implement web customer experiences
  • Brand marketing/communications a plus with focus on messaging and positioning for the web
  • Strong working knowledge of HTML, XML, scripting, .NET, ASP and other current Web technologies
  • SharePoint 2010 experience is highly desirable
  • Experience with search engine ranking, traffic and analysis software, including hands-on experience with tools such as Google Webmaster Tools, Google Trend Analysis, Adwords Keyword Tools, Keyword Discovery, WordTracker, Microsoft Adlabs, etc.
  • Up to date with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Yahoo Video, etc).
  • Excellent understanding of current web trends in blogging, social bookmarking like or related user community content sharing tools (Digg, Stumbled Upon, Redd It, etc.)
  • Team expansion/management skills to grow as the site requirements grow including vendor management as part of the team
  • Positive relationship management skills with internal contacts and outside vendors
  • Must be able to balance strategic and tactical work, implement web marketing, communicate customer needs though tools and messaging, work cross functionally, strong communication, creative, written, copy writing and interpersonal skills, drive for results and think globally
  • Limited travel anticipated
